new-years

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope that 2017 brings lots of success, happiness, and good times with the people we love. This year was pretty momentous for me. Not only did my husband and I celebrate 8 years of being together, we also met the little boy of our dreams. Being a mother to our son has been rewarding in so many ways. He has shown me what true love really is. I’m not sure if he will ever know how much I adore him, but I promise to show him every single day. Having a family of my own means the world to me and I feel very grateful to call them mine.

Professionally, 2016 has been pretty good as well. This has been another great year working with my regular clients and I have enjoyed all the new projects I can now add to my portfolio. I am thankful, yet again, to Minted for giving me lots of opportunities to grow as an artist. Not only am I proud to be a Minted designer, but they continue to challenge and inspire me in so many ways. I was also happy to redesign my website and update my branding, which is something I have been wanting to do for awhile. Overall, I just feel very lucky to do what I love to do. And being able to work from home and be with our son is awesome.

I look forward to so much more in 2017 and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Thank you for joining me on this journey! It’s nice to be connected to so many creative and talented people, as well as others who find interest in what I do. I hope you enjoyed the last day of the year and best wishes for all things great in 2017!

Interior Palettes: Modern Moody Holiday

I am loving this darker styled holiday space. Moody grays and rich browns against crisp whites and ivory hues are right up my alley. The natural elements are really needed here to bring some texture and that festive touch. I could sit around this fireplace all day.

Interior Palettes: Traditional Holiday

The holidays are great for so many reasons. One of them is decorating. I always love a good reason to change things up. This palette features traditional Christmas colors with a neutral foundation. The rich greens are festive and the modern touches of white and silver help brighten up the space. This is how we show our holiday spirit in our home. I hope it can inspire you to dress up yours.
