Does it Spark Joy?

So I jumped back on the treadmill today and started a new show while I was walking my butt off. One episode in and I can’t wait to watch more. I haven’t heard of Marie Kondo but I’m happy I know who she is now. What a little gem! I just love her approach to ‘tidying up’ and plan on using some of her methods in our home. I’ve always loved organization and being a neat freak all these years makes me proud. I just see so many positive results that come from a clean tidy space. And I find so much joy in creating systems and compartmentalizing items I could do it all day, lol. If you need a little help in this department check out the show. She’s adorable and very helpful.

This year was a turning point for me, mentally and emotionally. There were good things and shitty things, like always, but I’ve felt a shift within me. I’m happy to say good bye to 2018 and welcome the new year with open arms. I see change, opportunity, growth, and happiness in the near future and I look forward to making it all happen. Because no one is going to make shit happen for you. I am taking the hope I have left and my goals for 2019 and putting it all out in the universe. I can’t wait to see what the stars bring me.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year! May it be filled with joy, laughter, and love!
