Another favorite designer of mine, Catherine Deane, is simply a fem mastermind. She knows how to create beautiful pieces that take you back in time to another dimension. A place where the world is only looking at you and you alone. In a Catherine Deane, how could you not? From her everyday outfits to her gorgeous gowns, she completely takes your breath away with an image of perfection.

Classy, modern, nostalgic and incredibly detailed, her collections not only prove her skills and talents but also her understanding of how we women all would love to feel. Absolutely incredible and undeniably beautiful. Here are some of my faves.

Claire la Faye is one of my favorite bridal designers because she creates gowns that are unique, beautiful, romantic and simply lovely. Her work screams glam without all the drama and glitz, which is hard to come by. I have never worn one of her dresses but I can imagine you feel like a queen floating on clouds. Maybe one day I will have the honor but until then, I am in awe.

Graduating from Parsons School of Design in NYC, Claire’s career evolved from a line of reconsructed tee’s and soon enough, success was knocking at her door. Because her bridal line is so skillfully made and uniquely created, you wouldn’t think she entered the wedding curcuit just two years ago. But thanks to her, non traditional brides everywhere can wear her whimsical pieces and not only feel on the top of the world but prove like heavan is a place on earth.

Today Claire lives and works in Portland, Oregon. Here are some of my favorite gowns that are simply irresistable.

I have been loving this shop for awhile and now that they have a bridal selection, I must showcase them as shop of the month. Ruche is a vintage inspired shop that carries everything from clothing and accessories to home decor items. There is so much to choose from and all are priced very well. I also happen to love their website. So pretty!

Husband and wife team, Mai and Josh Olivo, created Ruche from top to bottom. Ideas started brewing in 2005 and three years later shopruche.com was born. Thanks to Mai and her determination to find stylish clothes and accessories, us girls who adore vintage flair have a beautiful place to find things we love. All that hard work paid off for sure. Thanks Mai & Josh!

I love shops that carry vintage inspired items and clothing. One of my favorites just came out with a new bridal collection I had to share. I came across Ruche about a year ago and was very happy with their selection. I mostly like their dresses but the shoes and accessories they sell are really awesome too. Not to mention, their vintage inspired jewelry.

The shop’s new bridal collection, To Have to Hold, has an array of antique style dresses for the bride and bridesmaids as well as accessories. The selection may not be huge right now but there are some nice choices if this is the style you are going for. I am sure they will have more as time passes but it’s certainly a good start.
