The first photography only Minted challenge has officially wrapped up and is now open for voting. I submitted a lot to this one, since photography is a huge love of mine. The holidays are here even when its spring. Well, at least for all of us Minted designers. Another challenge bites the dust, with a few more on the way. This one was for non photo designs. I didn’t have a chance to work on new submissions this time around, so I entered a few from last year that didn’t make the cut. So you might remember these. Who knows, they might make it in this year. Below are my three

A Sweet New York Baby Shower

This month friends and family gathered at my cousins’ girlfriends baby shower to celebrate their little girl on the way. I helped out by designing the invites as well as most of the event stationery. The dessert table was beautifully laid out by the talented Christine from Coco’s Customs, a friend (and relative of my cousin’s side of the family), that I have had the pleasure of working with before. Everything came out so nice and the mother to be, again, was super excited and thankful. Needless to say, they received everything they will need for the new addition and I wish them tons of amazing years ahead as a family of four. Here are some shots from the day. Enjoy!

What a fun challenge this was. Children’s parties are such a blast and designing invitations is a reason to get creative and think out of the box. I have been trying to play more with color lately so I incorporated whimsy palettes as well as my modern style into my submissions.
