I have been pretty busy lately, between planning my son’s 1st birthday party, work, and submitting designs to the Minted Holiday Challenge, there has almost no time for anything else. But I was able to get 2 submissions into the first greeting card challenge, which is pretty exciting. I wish I could have done more, but I was seriously burned out. Below are the 2 cards I created. Another challenge has wrapped up and thanks to this weekend, I was able to get 6 designs submitted. I gravitated toward a more elegant look for most, but created a few different styles as well. I haven’t entered many Minted challenges since I had our son, but I am trying to get back into the groove now that I have created some sort of balance with work and motherhood. I always love the birth announcement challenges so I knew I wanted to submit designs to this one. Unfortunately, I was so busy with projects that I was only able to get two in before the deadline. But I think they are both strong contenders, whether they win or not. Here are my submissions below.
