I wanted to keep it simple after lunch so we read Worms by Sian Smith and Elliot completed a threading exercise that was in the Kindergarten Readiness pack from our local library. Then he painted his Valentine gifts for his teachers.

This week we are learning about earthworms in our nature study! And I don’t think I’m the only one who can’t wait for spring to come. These little guys play such an important role in all things that grow and we are excited to explore what they are all about. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So we started by reading Wiggling Worms at Work by Wendy Pfeffer and then practiced size, the letter W, and numbers with some cute worksheets. Elliot also colored a WORM letter sheet and drew an under the dirt scene in our nature journal while referencing a spread in Life Cycles by DK. Earthworms are pretty rad.

I recently designed this sales page for @malaine_leah_butler to promote her program Vision Scripting. I used her branding elements, as this is another signature offering, and kept it clean as always. Malaine is great to work with and she is seriously a game changer. Visit malaineleahbutler.com/vision-scripting to check it out and learn more.

This afternoon we read The Queen of Frogs by Davide Cali and then we focused more on the anatomy of a frog for our lesson. I designed a worksheet for Elliot to complete and he also practiced the letter F a bit more. We also looked at a nice section on frogs in our book, Animals: Discover the Amazing Diversity of Nature by Discovery Kids. That’s a wrap!
