Film Review: Maggie

What a beautifully haunting film this was. An interesting and unique take on the virus type story. It reaches out and grabs you, pulls you in, and with every amazingly cinematic scene, you are hooked.
The story was intense and very emotional, at least for me anyway. It really allows you to connect with the characters and imagine it happening to you. It took hold of my soul, and was deeply felt. And the score was stunning.
This is a must see. One of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. Highly, highly recommended.

Film Review: Trainwreck

For Schumer’s first film, she did a great job. Not only was Trainwreck funny, but the story was heartfelt as well. Bill Hader was excellent and the rest of the cast was really good too. If you like Amy’s comedy style, then you will like this movie. It travels through the high and lows, mostly lows, of being single and how strange it can be to fall in love. I felt it was showing how people can grow up in a way, since Amy’s character just doesn’t take relationships seriously at all. Lots of laughs with this one.
