I really enjoyed this film. It was great to see Kroll again, and in a more serious role. The story was heartfelt and made me think of how much I love my family. The cast was awesome and the kid was adorable, what a cutie. Definitely check this one out.

Film Review: Chappy

I really liked this film. Since I’m a fan of Neill Blomkamp, I knew I had to see it.
What an interesting concept and story this was. Technology and fear go hand in hand and this was clearly explored in the story. How humans want to destroy when they feel inferior, even though they are the creators. I loved watching Chappie evolve into someone special, a unique soul for sure.

There was a lot of action, a good cast, and above all, a character you simply fall in love with. Chappie was rad. Although most of the film is kind of sad, the ending makes up for it.

Film Review: Maggie

What a beautifully haunting film this was. An interesting and unique take on the virus type story. It reaches out and grabs you, pulls you in, and with every amazingly cinematic scene, you are hooked.
The story was intense and very emotional, at least for me anyway. It really allows you to connect with the characters and imagine it happening to you. It took hold of my soul, and was deeply felt. And the score was stunning.
This is a must see. One of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. Highly, highly recommended.

Film Review: Mad Max: Fury Road

I finally watched this film a few months ago after it came out on DVD and it was everything and more of what I expected. Action packed, insane effects, and fight scenes, and amazing cinematography. I loved the female perspective, such strong characters. Tough chicks never get old, it was awesome.

Hardy played Max well, always a fan of his work. Theron rocked it as usual. You’re on the edge of your seat pretty much the whole film. I loved it. A story of hope, courage, and lots of crazy shit, lol.
