We are still having fun with blossoms over here. After reading a few books we covered some core lessons, line work, and symmetry. Then we made a clay flower, which Elliot painted and also pressed some flowers from the garden for another project. We love blooms

This week we are studying blossoms! This morning we learned all about different flowers, how they grow, and their anatomy. Then reviewed letters F and L, used our count & clip cards for a counting lesson, completed some fun worksheets, and played a matching flower game. For our art sesh we both colored some pretty blooms, Wild Geranium and a Sunflower (Elliot’s favorite).

After we went outside and looked at how all the flowers in our garden are blooming. We even caught a chubby bumblebee looking for nectar Elliot was a big help with watering as well. Who doesn’t love flowers? They are so beautiful and fascinating
