This morning we read About Birds: A Guide for Children by Cathryn Sill while having a little snack. Then we completed a BIRDS letter sheet and cut/paste the various birds we see on our property in our journal (8 in total), while listening to their calls. Also completed a few worksheets on the letter N and numbers (counting, fewer/more).

After lunch we read Mama Built a Little Nest by Jennifer Ward and started building our own little nest with various materials I had on hand. Someone was a bit tired so we are going to finish it during the week. We love birds and watch them everyday here at home so this is a pretty fun week for us.
