This past week I worked my ass off to finish a new website for Andrea and Lee of Shift Happens Consulting and I am so happy with how it turned out. The bonus: they love it too! Andi was referred to me by another fave client Patti Green and we hit it off right away. I helped her with a new program and after some discussion we moved forward with a full rebrand and web build. There was a deadline to switch platforms so I was in robot mode for sure 😂 But we did it. Now Shift Happens has a fresh new modern look and a home where all their awesome courses and services are offered. I just love working with them and truly feel inspired by the work they do. Their message resonates with me and it’s just really cool to team up with clients that are making the world a better place. I feel so lucky to be able to create for a living. Art and design was the only thing I ever wanted to do. And now, being self employed and running Gray Star Design I am so damn grateful for my journey. And the bonus? My clients. I have worked with some awesome people and the fact that my client base are mostly women, just makes my job even more special. From therapists and yoga instructors to coaches and professionals in the wellness field, these women are on a mission. And they are surely making a difference in the world. Bringing beauty to their business and helping it grow through design is my gift to them. Working alongside these badass ladies really means the world to me. Weekend Fun

It’s been a long few weeks working on projects and dealing with deadlines so I needed a day to just have some fun. Lately, I’ve been working weekends but it was time for a break. My mom, Elliot and I visited an awesome zoo in our area and it was cool to explore a new place and be around animals. They always make me smile. And even though I dealt with tantrums and someone not listening 🙄 I tried my best to enjoy my time there. The baby goats nipping at my clothes was funny and I’m always excited to see piggies. But the monkeys, wallaby, camel, horses, donkeys and other cool earthlings were a nice surprise. I am definitely looking forward to going back soon. For now, I’m going to sit back, eat some yummy vegan sushi and relax for the night. Hope you are all having a great weekend.
