In our nature study this week we are learning about snails! I was super excited for this and can’t wait for our little friends to start coming out to play 🐌 We read all about their anatomy and life cycle, practiced the letter L, completed a shadow matching and anatomy worksheet, and also some line work and a number lesson. We also made a cute paper snail craft.

Then we had an awesome time at the park with friends for a break. So glad we got to enjoy this beautiful day. After, we chilled out with a good book and did a few fun worksheets on the letters, shapes, and a number puzzle I created. Looking forward to more snail fun this week

For our nature study this morning we read one of our favorite books, practiced the letter S, and had a number lesson with our spring count and clip cards. We also learned about seeds and completed a life cycle worksheet, practiced linework, and did a flower puzzle. It’s such a chilly, windy day but studying all things spring is surely putting a smile on my face.⠀⠀⠀

Just a few fun things to wrap up our spring study. We read a beautiful book on flowers and learned about sunflowers, made a seed mosaic, practiced shapes with a sticker activity, and completed a color by number rainbow. We certainly love spring over here.⠀

For more spring fun we read Beginning to Learn About Spring by Richard L. Allington, PhD and Kathleen Krull, practiced some seasonal words and matching, and completed a worksheet on the soil layers (@brighterdaypress). We also made a crafty spring sign with paper, popsicle sticks, and cotton balls.
