After lunch we read a nice Easter story and learned all about rabbits! We looked at their life cycle, completed an anatomy worksheet, practiced shapes with a bunny puzzle and sticker activity, and created a little rabbit scene. Love this holiday.

Today is all about Easter fun! We read about the history of the holiday, practiced the letter E, worked on patterns, learned about the anatomy of an egg, and had a number lesson with our spring count & clip cards. Then we made clay eggs and painted them.

This week in our nature study we are supposed to take a little break so I decided to teach Elliot a little about gardening today. We read Tiny Green Thumbs by C.Z. Guest, completed some worksheets from a cute garden unit (he colored the veggies and I colored the bugs), and practiced some numbers with new bug count and clip cards (both from @morningstogether). Then we planted a few Zinnia seeds to observe. Keeping it easy and fun today.

This morning we continued with our nature study and read some cool books, practiced our letters, did a sticker activity, and had fun tracing spirals for some line work practice. Elliot also colored a snail drawing and we made little snails from clay and shells from our collection.
